About Linda
What I Bring to the Table
As a landscape contractor and landscape designer with 14 years of experience as a small business owner in this industry, I’m acutely aware of the demands of a growing company. A website, a blog and social media presence are integral parts of today’s marketing strategies.
I write focused on your reader, and with my experience in this field, I can often identify their wants, desires, and needs along with problems they may want to solve. With content that is educational, accurate, engaging, and captivating, I build trust, and trust brings conversions.
My Writing Style
My writing style is conversational and easy to read. It’s also search-engine and social media friendly. I capture your readers through creative and inspiring content that educates on how your products or services can bring them enrichment, convenience and/or improvement to their quality of life.
I understand learning styles and write to incorporate these styles encouraging longer engagement on your site. This results in motivation and a desire to take action whether it be for your product, your services or pages in a magazine that simply relax, educate and call for engagement with nature and the world around us.
For me, inspiration to write is often fed by my love and passion for nature and engaging with the Earth. I also enjoy writing and sharing many life experiences with personal empowerment to encourage and elevate others. Because the healing powers of nature can touch our personal lives, many unifying experiences can evolve with the merging of nature and personal empowerment. Thoughts often flow into my mind insisting I put pen to paper and craft an article or a story to provide hope, encouragement, motivation, inspiration and in some way make a difference.
A few of my favorite topics about nature include design, creating with nature’s palette, organic gardening (both ornamental and edibles), organic pest controls, appreciating the Earth’s abundant gifts, sustainability, how nature nurtures, the psychological, physiological and spiritual impact nature can have on each of us, and the amazing underground network that makes this possible.
Personal empowerment opens the door to a multitude of topics and needs. Some of these include self-talk, self-esteem, confidence, optimism, happiness, health, purpose, passion, attitude, goals, balance, compassion, and releasing controls from the past.
On a Personal Note
- Being a “forever student” keeps me on a path of learning, reading, studying, researching and striving to become a better human being.
- I enjoy mountain climbing. My greatest challenge was climbing Mt. Whitney in a day, but the amazing views of nature made every step worth it – even the 99 switchbacks!
- I’m about 80 percent vegetarian, very health conscious, and I love to grow my own fruits, berries and vegetables. When I’m not writing, I’m in my garden.
- My children and my grandchildren are the jewels in my crown, the joy of my life!
